Hello, fire fighters!

I am very happy to announce the next big update of Fire Rescue.
It has been in the works for a long time because my hard drive stopped working and i had to get the data and code back.

So what's new? 

This is almost the full game :)

• Added and advanced the level briefing screen at the start of each level
  • This gives the player a clear purpose and setup for each level
  • Each newspaper represents a new location using fantastic illustrations by https://lornn.itch.io/
    
    
• Levels: Added and advanced 9 levels
  • Added more levels and rebalanced  the existing ones (in total 9)
    
  • Each level introduces not more than one new unit or element
  • Finetuned the objectives "save the forest" and "save the city" to offer a variation
  • Improved train system (yes you can collide a fire engine with the train ;) )
    
  • Added a pipe system (with pipes that can explode)
    
• Advanced the high score screen and section
  • The main score will come from the saved forest or saved city
  • Bonus score will come from:
    • Killed fires
    • Saved units
    • Avoided explosion
  • The game will tell you if you have a new high score in this level
• Medals are handed out when reaching achievements:
  • They range from a number of killed fires to completed levels and avoided explosions
  • This should be fun to stay motivated over the 9 levels besides all the gameplay fun
    
    

What will be added soon in another version?

• Save system (so you do not have to start all the time from the beginning) and resetting the game will be added
• More polish
• More sound fx and music
• Text polish
• Credits will be added
  
• Maybe Spanish as another language
• Maybe hints will be added
